What is laminate glass?
Laminate glass is a safety glass consisting of two or more panes bonded together with an interlayer — typically polyvinyl butyral (PVB). When broken, the glass fragments adhere to the interlayer rather than shattering, significantly reducing the risk of injury and maintaining a barrier against intruders. It is widely used in shopfronts, commercial doors, and high-traffic glazing applications.
