Curtain wall projects demand a contractor who understands both the technical and commercial pressures involved. Official Shopfront& Shutters Ltd operates with a dedicated technical team that produces detailed fabrication drawings, material take-offs, and thermal calculations in-house. This internal capability eliminates the delays and disconnects that occur when design and fabrication are handled separately.

Our installation teams are experienced in all aspects of facade work including structural fixing design, interface detailing with rooflines and floor edges, movement joint provision, and integration with internal blinds, ventilation grilles, and fire stopping systems. We understand that curtain walling must perform in concert with every other building system around it.

Our glass specification expertise covers solar control, self-cleaning, anti-reflective, opaque spandrel, and electrochromic options. We advise on the optimal glass specification for each elevation based on orientation, occupancy comfort, energy performance targets, and aesthetic requirements — balancing all factors to achieve the best outcome for the building and its occupants.

Quality assurance on every curtain wall project includes water tightness testing, air permeability testing, and thermal bridge assessment at completion. We provide full documentation packs covering all tested performance data, installation records, and maintenance guidance for handover to building managers and FM teams.
